"Working with Alex was incredibly easy and fun.  After contacting him through his connection with the University of Washington School of Music, he sent us a listing of all of the songs in his repertoire.  We were thrilled with the extensive list of songs that he could play.  He graciously invited us to his studio to listen to a sample of the songs which we liked, and worked with us to better understand the environment and emotion we wanted to cultivate for our ceremony.  

    When we approached Alex about learning to play a new song he eagerly took it upon himself to study it and prepare.  Alex proactively contacted us with different versions of our chosen song to ensure he was selecting the one we desired, and helped guide us to craft a wonderful assortment of complementary songs that included traditional, Irish folk, and modern music.  

    Our wedding day was outdoors during late August with 100 guests, and Alex played beautifully.  We received so many compliments for how wonderfully his music carried, so effortlessly, over our gathered guests, and how it added an incredible depth of emotion.  He travelled to Whidbey Island for our ceremony and had an air of openness and hospitality for our many guests that approached him after the nuptials.
